Welcome to Kosy K9's Boarding Kennels.

We are an AsureQuality approved Boarding Kennel operation halfway between Kaiapoi and Rangiora, North Canterbury, run by Paul and Erica Abelen-Freeman. (view location map)

Together we have been breeding and showing Border Collies, Australian Shepherds and Corgis for the last 7 years, though Paul has been involved for a lot longer than that.

We have a 10 acre lifestyle block just outside Rangiora on which we raise boer goats, chickens and our children. We decided to build the Boarding Kennels as an extension of our love for animals, especially dogs.

Our aim is to provide cosy, comfortable and homely facilities so that your pet feels at home.
