Welcome to Kosy K9's Boarding Kennels.

PLEASE NOTE: We advise booking early for your pooches Christmas and New Year holidays with us. We do get booked out quite quickly but do accasionally get cancellations. Give us a call and let us see what we can do for you.

If you have to move out of your home because of earthquake damage, and have nowhere to keep your precious pooch(es), please contact us and we do what we can to help.

We are an AsureQuality approved Boarding Kennel operation halfway between Kaiapoi and Rangiora, North Canterbury, run by Paul and Erica Abelen-Freeman. (view location map)

Together we have been breeding and showing Border Collies, Australian Shepherds and Corgis for the last 9 years, though Paul has been involved for a lot longer than that.

We have a 10 acre lifestyle block just outside Rangiora on which we raise boer goats, chickens and our children. We decided to build the Boarding Kennels as an extension of our love for animals, especially dogs.

Our aim is to provide cosy, comfortable and relaxed facilities so that your pet feels at home.

Yet another service we have on offer is, DOGGY DAYCARE. If you are going to be away from home for the day and would like your precious pal to have some company, then drop them into us for the day or if you would just like your furry friend to have a bit more of social life, then this is the place for them. At present we have a number of daycare dogs that come for a visit and they really enjoy their stay with us.
