 After watching Cesar Milan (the Dog Whisperer) on Prime TV, I have been inspired to find out more about him and his rehabilitation methods. After doing a search on FISHPOND, I purchased two books. They are a great read with Cesar's caring and calm-assertive personality shining through. I totally recommend these books, not just for people who may be having "issues" with their dog(s), but also for those who enjoy a good book.

The Australian Shepherd

These are a great breed of dog, very loyal, protective and great with children. They are a working breed so do need lots of exercise and stimulation. They have a medium length coat that does require a moderate mount of care. Brushing the coat once a week or so should be enough. Aussies come in a range of colours and while we are particularly enamoured of the blue merles, the other colours are just as cool.
